Terms of use
The short version: Together is in early development and free to use while it is being built. The facts come from open data and can be out of date or wrong. Be kind on the live map, and do not use it to identify anyone.
What Together is
A website that shows what places share and, one day, introduces people to each other. It is not a dating service, a news service, a crisis service or professional advice of any kind.
Facts can be wrong
Facts about places are copied from open datasets, each with its year and a link to its source on where the facts come from. They describe places, never the people in them. They can be out of date or mistaken, so check anything that matters with the original source. If you spot a mistake, see how to correct something.
Using the live map
- Appearing with a name is for adults only.
- Use a first name or nickname. Do not use a name that identifies you fully, or pretend to be someone else.
- Do not try to identify, find or contact anyone through Together.
Other people's work
The words and design of Together are mine. The data, Wikipedia introductions and photographs belong to their sources and are used under their own licences, each credited beside it.
Availability
Together may be slow, go offline or change without notice while it is being built. I may pause a feature, such as the live map, at any time to keep people safe.
What is not settled yet
These terms have not had a legal review. They will be reviewed, and extended, before accounts or introductions between people open. Changes will be noted on the changelog.
